I mix documentary and creative photography, keeping things relaxed and natural. I’ll read the vibe between you and your partner and work with that, avoiding stiff, posed shots. The goal is to capture genuine, memorable moments you'll actually want to look back on.

I like to keep things light with some jokes—some silly, I often laugh at my own jokes which makes people laugh at me! Whether you're laughing at me or with me, just laugh—those moments make for the best photos!

Where I Work

I specialise in capturing engagement moments in and around the beautiful beaches of Cape Town. There are a few magical venues I love working at, known for their breathtaking views and stunning sunsets.

How I Work

Early Arrival: I usually arrive ahead of time to capture any pre-proposal moments, especially if you’re at a hotel. I’ll discreetly photograph the preparation without tipping off your partner.
Staying Incognito: Throughout the process, I’ll remain in touch with you covertly, ensuring your partner remains unaware of the surprise. If necessary, I’ll blend in by pretending to be a tourist with too many cameras! This allows me to take candid shots without drawing attention.
Capturing the Surprise: When the proposal begins, I’ll step out of hiding to capture the unfolding magic. By then, your partner will be focused solely on the special moment.

After the Proposal

After giving you a few moments to soak it all in, I’ll guide you through a relaxed photo session. This includes a mix of posed and natural shots of the two of you, as well as close-ups of the engagement ring.
I’m also happy to take a few snaps and videos on your phones to share instantly with friends and family.

How long is the engagement shoot?

I shoot for aproximately 1.5 hours

Delivery

You will receive your high-resolution images within 48 hours, and if possible, even sooner! This way, you can share your special moments quickly.

How You’ll Receive Your Photos

I deliver the final images via WeTransfer in high resolution. Additionally, I’ll set up a password-protected online gallery, available for one month, where you can view and download your photos.
